Hótel Rangá Receives Award as “Best Resort Hotel in Europe”
It is official! We are very honoured and proud to announce that Hotel Rangá is a recipient of the International Hotel Awards in association with Bloomberg Television. The award ceremony took place in the Savoy Hotel in London on 18 January 2012.
Hotel Rangá received a five-star recognition and was awarded the “Best Resort Hotel in Iceland 2011″ award. Having received a five star recognition as best in country, the hotel automatically entered the regional competition for Europe, and we are pleased to announce that Hotel Rangá is the “Regional Winner” in the Europe as the “Best Resort Hotel in Europe 2011″. In addition, Hotel Rangá received a highly commended recognition as the “Best Hotel in Iceland 2011″.
It goes without saying that the hotel staff is delighted and thrilled to receive this recognition and three different awards. The International Hotel Awards evolved from the International Property Awards, established 18 years ago, its award winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry.
The first ever international five-stars have been awarded to a small number of outstanding hotels across Europe. Winners of the inaugural European Hotel Awards in association with Bloomberg Television were revealed at a high profile presentation dinner at Savoy Hotel in London on 18 January 2012.
